Yes Antonio, I totally agree and would add what is written in the first PPT slide:"Second language acquisition is indeed "second culture acquisition"... or also "When in Rome, act like a roman"!
It's true. Speak a foreing language is far beyond using the right entonation, the most appropriate word, have the closest accent to a native speaker,and have a good promptness of answer. Just to examplify I'd like to call attention to all different interpretation in different cultures of the body signal "OK" ( made with the index and thumb fingers).
