Off-Brand Fake Investors Now Accepting Funds send money using anonymous international transfer service You probably thought that the investment plan was that someone would invest in your company or idea. Or maybe just invest in you. Well, you were close. The actual investment flow is from you to a stranger in a distant land who is taking advantage of a free wi-fi hot spot. You send money, either through an on-line service or using an international wire transfer service. The hope is that later you will receive money, but there are some up-front charges. They may be given any of several names, including - advance fee
- application fee
- government fees
- investor fees
- 419 fees
The important thing is you receive a plausible-sounding reason why you must send money first. The dashing of your hopes comes shortly thereafter. You may be informed enough to avoid the common free maildrop services. You are certainly correct in rejecting out of hand investors using Google, Yahoo, or the various Microsoft brands. However, that does not mean that off-brand fake investments will treat you better. The main thrust remains that you must send money first. Once you send the money, you will be motivated to find out more about the off-brand investor. By that point, it is too late, because there is no chance of having any of the money back.
