Subject: The next day....Katie (Layla) inside!

Teresa is my 11 year old daughter who loves to ride english...
Friday after school Teresa was so excited she couldn't sit still on the bus. That was the last day of school!! Summer vacation was here! She jumped off the bus & ran inside her house. After changing into riding clothes, she came into the kitchen and saw a family talking with her parents. "Yes, you own a lovely stable!" an attractive woman was saying to Jenny. A little boy amused himself with a gameboy and a girl Teresa's age was sitting quietly at the table, flipping through a Young Rider. She glanced up & smiled at Teresa. "Hey, I'm Katie! My paremts just moved here and we're boarding at your mom's stable." Teresa & katie began talking and found they had many things in common. Both loved eventing, basketball, horses, and shared many of the same intrests, plus they were the same age. Teresa glanced at Katie's brother, Andy. "He's only a year older then my brother, Joey!" she exclaimed. Her mom told her to be quiet. "Let's go to the stables," she said. Layla nodded in agreement and the 2 girls ran the short distance to the stables.
