] Date Posted: 05:53:04 11/22/08 Sat Author Host/IP: 24.139.112.234 Welcomed by Queen Martha from the Ndebele Village at Zebra Country Lodge all the Miss World contestants had to repeat the words Mahlango, which is the Chief`s name, three times to enter the village. The village is instantly recognisable by the colourful designs painted on their walls. This intricate artwork was done by Esther Mahlangu who resides in the village with her family. Once inside the contestants were greeted by the people of Ndebele in their distinctively colourful dress with a traditional village drink and the infectious sound of the African drums. Zimbabwe, Columbia and Aruba joined in the dancing before the contestants were invited to join in with some traditional Ndeble beading.
