Subject: walks in...

The yound stallion walks in. He is cut and scratched and weary, from weeks of endless traveling. His feet are sore and full o' stones, and his normally sleek coat was full o' dust and dirt. You couldn't call him lost. He didn't know were he was, but nor did he care. He wasn't going to return home. Not for a long, long time. In fact, he had no home to return to. The place he had used to call home was, well, nobody cared about him like they used to. He rememberd when Gussy had first seen him. He had offered him great protection. He had stood over him. And cub. She had offered him motherly care and love. He had had to foster parents who loved him and cared for him. Then Cub got mad with Gussy, and gone away. And now he didn't even know where she was or if she lived. And Gussy...Gussy was dead. And now everyone ignored him. Nobody talked to him anymore. But he didn't cry now. All he wanted was food and shealter before he moved on. And he could hear the sounds and smell the smells of a nearby hear residence. He hoped they were friendly...
