"don't cry, pretty one. I never saw my true father. He died before I was born. Gussy, my foster father who took me in, died inly a week or two before now. My mother I remember faintly. She died when the evils took her away. I was only a few months old. I do not know where my foster mother is. But the worst is, my father died from being killed by a supposedly "good" person. Do not cry. Please. Your father wouldn't want to see you upset"
