Was zwischen Mama und mir passierte, war nicht peinlich - sie hatte häufig genug alles von mir gesehen, und daß ich heulte und manchmal zappelte, wollte Mama erreichen und war nicht zu vermeiden. Während der Haue und kurz danach war ich auch wahrlich mit anderen Dingen beschäftigt als es peinlich zu finden.

Peinlich war nur, daß ich nicht wußte, wer bei meiner Haue alles zuhörte. Es gab zwar keine Zuschauer (jedenfalls fast nie), aber ich wußte ja nie, wer das Spektakel aktustisch "genoß" und später die Chance für einen Spruch nutzte. Meist klappte zwar die Gegenverteidigung ("Na, Du warst bestimmt ein schweigender Held, als Du es das letzte Mal bekommen hast ?!", oder: "Soll ich Dich so hauen wie meine Mama mich ?"), aber gegen detailreiche Schilderungen meiner Haue half das natürlich nichts.
