IS THERE A WORD MISSING?

Accountability /// The board is there to serve the membership not the other way around. My schedule will be posted monthly, so at anytime , any member can see where I have been ,what I have done and what I plan to do next.
WHERE WOULD YOU POST IT? IN THE SUPER OFFICE?


One of the more important issues I would like to tackle first is holding monthly meetings .

Members should to be able to voice their opinions , suggest new ideas, and get a better understanding of what the issues are. .....

(we have a union hall, why not use it) ......
DIDN'T YOU JUST HAVE A MEETING AT STONE FORGE?

As a Teamster, SPELLING IS CORRECT, in local 25, attendance at the monthly meeting was expected (almost mandatory)
YOU COUNTED ONE THE UNION FOR A JOB
and was a great catalyst for info sharing and solidarity building . I feel this is a much overlooked yet simple solution to alot of the apathy and confusion in this membership.



We need a more aggresive legislative agenda.The PAC money is invaluable, the lobbyist firm is fine, but more time and effort needs to be spent creating contacts in the State House and getting the membership involved in the process of influencing their lawmakers. The legislature is the key to improving our wages and working conditions.
THIS IS VERY TRUE HOPR YOU CAN GET JOE GUERINO OFF HIS ASS

We need to streamline the grievance process through changes to the CBA. The current process is so tedious, managers use the steps and timelines as a tool to take advantage of the officer who ,most times ,can't afford to wait it out.

We need a board that is actively visible at the institutions. A "tour" every six months or so , is unacceptable.

We need leadership that will bring us together instead of seperating us . STEP DOWN THEN
