      • Gasparilla is ok. Thats it. We have been before and the awards are like what you get at a SB prelim. The one nice thing was the bigger stage and ballroom. It was very disorganized however, but hopefully they will fix that. Is it the pageant of the year that we can't wait for? No. But it is cheap and good stage time.   • I agree. It is not positive. The director is doing it for the money and the tv show was a way to lure pm's into thinking their dd is having a big moment on tv. The tv channel is doing it for the ratings and the more negative a show is the better the ratings. The pm's that have subjected their dd's to this are putting their daughters in what will be an ambarrassment. They are making the pageant community look bad. Shame on all of them.   • I don't agree with that. I think it would be fun to be a part of a show if it was put in a good light. The VH1 show with KA and JW was cute.     • Sorry I disagree. People like the ones that are flocking to MG pageants thrive for attention and the controversy of the TV show makes all pageants look bad. There are pageants in Florida that try hard to be positive. DA, EGG, RM, Star Search all had benefit pageants to help kids and numbers were low at all of them because some of the pm's just want to get attention even when it is negative.
