Subject: BEWARE OF THIS FILIPINO GUY NAMED: ROLAND JOTA

My Fellow National Directors of World Festival Queen:

My name is Frank Ikegwuonu from Nigeria. I am a producer here in Lagos for Urbanmingles Productions Ltd.

Last June 2009 I was invited by the World Festival Queen organizers to send a delegate to represent our beautiful country in their first pageant that was originally had a scheduled on October 4 to 24 then later moved to a new schedule November 8 to 28 then later to November 22 to December 8 and now postponed to an indefinite date on late February 2010. World Festival Queen boast that they have at least 60 delegates confirm to arrive in the Phillipines in their first salvo.

Based on our franchise agreement, I am to send delegates from Nigeria and 11 other African countries including Algeria, Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Egypt, Ethiopia, Liberia, Malawi, Malta, Namibia, and South Africa (please refer to my webpage, www.nigerianentertainment.com/worldfestivalqueen, which is also posted as a link on the Facebook page of World Festival Queen). As producer of a TV reality series program and indie films, I am capable of producing a national pageant to this countries.

Last August 28 to September 5, 2009, I traveled to the Philippines with my TV crew to see and meet the World Festival Queen organizers. I have been in constant e-mail exchange with Dr. Benjie Teodosio. In Manila I met Roland Jota who introduced himself to be the chairman of World Festival Queen and a broadcaster of a TV network here ABS-CNB, and wearing ABS-CNB uniform t-shirts all the time during our tour. Jota brought me and my crew to far flung remote villages in the Philipines called Viscaya and Ifugao. He said Dr. Teodosio is in Australia that time so I never had the chance to meet him.

When we started to meet with the governors, I started to get the shocks of my life. Jota meet with three governors of the Philippines which appears to me that he is only starting to negotiate with them. He had been asked for calling card but he cannot give any. Instead he distribute out thin books he call ON THE SPOT MAGAZINE which later I learn is not a legitimate business (not paying tax, not regitered in the government). That was already in September and the finals was only two months from then. I was shocked and began to have questions in my mind about the veracity of this international pageant and of this person. I began to doubt Jota because he had many stories that is intertangle with each other and are queer. But I held my doubts to myself to give Jota the benefit of the doubt, after all their president Dr. Benjie is a respected fellow at the United Nations and a practiceing professor in the most respected university in the Philipines.

Back to my tour in the Philipines, during this meetings, Jota told me that he is bankrupt and that he has no money for the prizes and crown and their website. When I visited his small crammed office in Quezon I asked to see the crown or papers that he is a legitimate businessman and the pageant I joined was a legitimate international pageant. But he failed to show me those, but he insisted to ask me money. Jota asked me to loan him 1,000,000 one million US dollars. All this he told me while in front of Jim Calata of the Viscaya government. Jota asked the Viscaya government to pay him 3,000,000 three million Peso over and beyond the hosting of the acomodations, foods and refreshments because he said it will be used to cover for the prizes and crowns for the finals. We also went to a local hotel in Viscaya where Jota asked the manager and the owner to cover fully the foods, acomodations, and refreshments on the pageant tour (which he already asked from the Viscaya government). The governor and the government officials told us that the letter of intent was "approved in principle" because of Dr. Teodosio, a respected educator and advocate of human rights and culture in the Philipines. But when the doctor had never appeared in any of the meetings and Jota was asking a large amount of money, all of this was rejected and Viscaya will no longer host the tour because they sensed Jota refer to them as a milking cow. I repeat Dr. Teodosio during all this travel with me and my crew in Luzon, Viscaya and Ifugao was not present and we have no communications with him whatsoever through email or phone.

Jota also told me that out of the thirteen members of the board of World Festival Queen, four already back out who formed another pageant, Festival Queen of the World. Judith Arlyn Vergara is the Chairman of Festival Queen of the World pageant, if you will notice, our franchise agreements is represented by Judith Arlyn Vergara of World Festival Queen. Jota's girlfriend told me that they had a falling out because of problem with sharing.

I am writing this to you my fellow national directors to warn you. Jota is a scammer and an opportunist. He has no money and all he want to do is to gain money from all of us. He asked me money several times when I was in Manila. Aside from I have to pay for all the food and acomodations of my crew, I also have to pay for his girlfriend Mummy Mina and sons acomodations who was with us when we went around in the Philippines. When I asked for copy of the pictures he said I have to pay him. I came to the Philippines paying my own air tickets and acomodations. I learn from Jim Calata later when I am already in Manila that the Viscaya government paid the foods and acomodations in Viscaya of us and Jota’s family when we stayed there at the Saber Inn. So what was the one hundred thousand pesos he asked from me and I gave him then?

With Dr. Teodosio, I have no problem. He is a good person and all his records are good and spic and span clean and has a good integrity. I check at the University of the Philippines a prestigious university in the country, he is of good standing professor there. He graduated also from University of Sydney in Australia. He is the only one keeping World Festival Queen credible. I repeat IF and only IF Dr. Teodosio is REALLY PART OF Jota's SCAM.......

I am sad I was victimised by Jota. I am warning you to NOT allow yourself to be scammed. THERE IS NO PRIZE MONEY, NO CROWN, NO CASH TO PAY FOR THE HOTEL AND FINALS VENUE. ROLAND JOTA is a crook! He is a womanizer and has many children from different women so he badly needs the money to sustain them..... He has no legitimate business and only ask politicians for money. He IS NOT A BROADCASTER. I have been asking him to guest us in his TV or radio program but he failed to give me any date because he does not have any TV or radio program. I went to ABS-CNB but they do not have any show or blocktime programs in their radio or TV or cable that Roland Jota hosts. I have already withdrawn my country directorship.

To any of you who want prove. Check their website www.worldfestivalqueen.com ---- the photos in the events JOTA IS NOT A PART OF IT. HE WAS ONLY THERE AS A BOGUS REPORTER WHO TOOK PICTURES AND VIDEOS. He is not even one of the organizers of the event there, you can check with the governor of Ecieja who despise him.
