Subject: Jordan Rice

Jordan Rice was born in the year 1812 and died 16' January 1902 he was born in Pickens County. Now look at this he was the son of Issac Rice Sr. Issac Rice Sr. was born in 1768 and died around 1856. His wife Elizabeth [Betsy] Kennemer Rice was the daughter of John Kennemer and Elizabeth Lesley. Issac Rice Sr. and Betsy Rice had 9 children. Issac Rice Jr.' Lewis' Jordan' Nancy' Elizabeth' Vinecy' Susan' and Amanda. I can only find 8 children. There may have been another but this is the entire list that i have. This list may not be in order. I think that Lewis is the oldest with the research that i have done. Jordan married Millie Alexander' she was born December 11th. 1818 and she died February 13th. 1892. Now she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Alexander. Both of them are buried at the family cemetery near Crow Creek. Their children were Licena Rice who married Mr. Riggins' Narissa Rice' Nancy Rice' Thomas Rice' Kesiah Rice. Elizabeth Rice who married Jacob Collins/ Laury Rice' Reuben Watson Rice who married Adelaide Leach' William Jackson Rice Who married Martha H. Gibson and later moved to Texas' Luretia Malinda Rice who married John Arial Parrot' Millie Rice Millie Rice and Dorcas Rice.
