We have 8 girls so far. 4 veterans and of those veterans 2 with REAL talent, one with beauty and a rocking body. 4 newbies, 2 with really great voices. 5 prelims left, and a few will go At Large, I predict, 3 maybe 4...we are going to have a very small OT group this year.

What is up with the OT division this year?

So many school pageants that do not have the teen division. Looks like we should make up the difference with just OT or OT/Princess prelims.

I think if you go at large one year that should be your free ticket...you should have to go and win a title. That is just my 2 cents worth. There are girls that get out there and bust their humps, send in their entry fees, and put the miles on their parents cars and go to 1, 2, 3 sometimes up to 5 or 6 pageants to win a prelim...and then some girls just say hey, I didn't get the title or the director I want so I will just go at large. That is wrong.

So Far:

Fitness, HID OT, hands down - Meagan Lee
Talent, its a toss up, depending upon what one does at state, (hearing rumblings about HID not tapping)...either be Monroe's Bernard or HID's Lee (she did not get enough credit last year at state for her routine). Just MHO.

I know for a fact and if her child EVER got on either MB she would throw all the computers out the door. So try again.
Her daughter competes not b/c Mom wants her to, but the other way around. MOM hates the pageant thing. You might out to check out things before you post random, unsubstantinated statements.

pretty clear cut, MY opinion on VETERANS talent and fitness and NEWCOMERS talent and fitness...and I have been to all the pageants. its a hobby. sue me. my kids are grown, in college, don't have much to occupy my time. blah on me.

It would be a good idea if you stay off the boards and keep your biased ides to yourself. Sometimes, talking up a girl is the death of her competition. We are not stupid in the pageant world! Give up up and give your daughter a break!

Obviously you are not quite as smart as you think you are because while you assume that I am one child's parent in particular, you are so far off base that it is almost funny. I am of the wrong and sexual orientation completely to be that child's parent.
I do know whom you are referring to because I have met that woman once at a pageant. She didn't strike me as the type to toot her own child's horn, so to speak. In fact, it struck me as she didn't really care for the whole pageant thing.
Obviously, you have a problem or see this child as a threat possibly, so you need to go deal with it and quite ranting on a public message board. If there are people that enjoy that child's talent, looks, or overall appearance then that is the pageant world. It is quite fickle. They will like her today and like someone alltogether different and new next week.

Until state begins to recruit and insist that these girls win a local, they will never grow. Where is the Teen Chairman? He needs to be at every pageant recruiting contestants and potential directors.
