1. ZONA NOROESTE
Está formada por los Estados de Baja California Norte, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa y Nayarit. Limita al norte con E.U.A. al este con la Sierra Madre Occidental, al sureste con la Zona Centro Occidente y al sur y oeste con el Océano Pacífico. Esta zona tiene una superficie de 410 755 km2, lo que representa el 21% del territorio nacional.
El clima es seco y semi seco templado en las regiones más altas
Sus comidas típicas son los mariscos en toda la región costera como el pescado zarandeado sebiche y salpicón entre otras y en cuanto a las bebidas son la margarita,
