2. ZONA CENTRO-OCCIDENTE
Situación. La forman los Estados de Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Guanajuato, Colima y Michoacán. Al norte limita con la Sierra de Zacatecas, al este con la Zona Centro, al sur con la Zona Pacífico Sur y al oeste con el Océano Pacífico. Su superficie es de 181,917 km2, equivalente al 49 del territorio nacional.
