Subject: the new era begins...

*Territorial Pissings by Nirvana blares over the loud speakers at MSG. The PPV is over but something unwarranted is happening. Suddenly, two men emerge from the crowd. One is carrying a sign that reads "Lang + NECW = New Era!" Tristan Lang gets in the ring accompanied by his manager, "Big" Pete Drudge. Lang looks at the crowd and walks around the inside of the ring. He grabs a mic and begins to speak*

Lang-New York City! So we meet again! It's good to be back home. Why, the last time I was here, you kicked me out of the ever popular ECHW! I guess I was just too damn good for you New York trash, huh?

*Crowd boos. Lang and Drudge laugh*

Lang-Well, it seems that someone in the back has made a wise choice and decided to let me into their little establishment here. Thats right. Tristan Lang is now officially in the NECW!!!

*Fans boo*

Lang-My first order of business here will be to methodically pick apart each of the competitors who step in my way. I'll tell you what. Friday night, I will give anyone in the back an open invitation for a match. Any one of you slouches in the back. That includes you Rob! The So-Called "Mr. P-P-V!" I'll show you the real Mr. PPV! I'll show you who the whole f'n show is! It's Tristan Lang! The Real Deal! The Original Showstoppa! The Lethal Weapon!

*Fans boo again*

Lang-I am the new era in the NECW! I will single handedly raise the competition levels in this federation! I will methodically strip away the titles and dignity of every other wrestler in this federation. Then I will run this damn show! It'll be my show. And you, New York. You know I can do it! And I will... trust me.

*Lang throws down the mic and raises his arms in the air. Lang and Drudge leave the ring to a large boo*
