Subject: Char McCargo Bah (summary)

It´s a history about Char Bah, a woman who is looking for her slaves ancestors. Even with the lack of records, the surnames of them took of their owners and the documents destroyed by Civil War, Char didn´t give up to find her family. She began recording histories about her family members and after she went to the Halifax Country Courthouse looking for information about them. Finally Char found her great-great grandmother and her great-great grandfather and the price thet they were sold.
In the end she felt very fortunate to know who were her ancestors and that they tried tremendously to survive and made possible for the generations after them.
