I choose Jennifer Petrino’s history. Jennifer Petrino have been in America for three generations, but she is Italian and her family too. Jennifer realized that she wanted to know more about her Italian heritage. She called her grandmother and asked her everything I could think of to ask. After, Jennifer began looking for documents and went to her local Family History Center, a genealogical resource run by the Mormon Church. Jennifer learned much about her family's immigration history. In her researches Jennifer found two “Caterinas” because their parents had chosen to name them both Caterina: her grandmother and her great-grandmother's younger sister. Jennifer wrote to younger Caterina's daughter - Francesca Saglimbene and the two families meet. Jennifer learned more details about her family tree. She also learned about her relatives that still lived in Misilmeri, and the mayor had invited them all to the town hall for a celebration of the unique bonds between Italy and America.
