Here are a few things that helped me through my first go at pageants:

Organize everything! Make labels for all of your items that will remain in the CC. Have one garmet bag for each change of clothes, and on the front clearly label in large type the outfit (I went by song name) and the night it is to be worn. Do this for your opening number outfit, talent, off night gowns, etc. It helps you and anyone who may help you get dressed.

Take as few things as possible back and forth. A bag that is water resistant is a good idea bc it may be raining. On that note, take an umbrella too.

A cute pen or paint pen for autographs-a must.

A few healthy snacks-they don't always feed you healthy food and it made me terribly sick when I ate BBQ on a vegetarian-like stomach. Bring Special K bars, banans, mandarin orange packets, etc. to keep in your bag.

If they give you a bag for the week that looks like everyone else's, tie a ribbon on it to make it easily rec. as yours.

Fake tan stuff-I didn't know to bring it, but a lot of girls use it.

Slippers and flip flops for the room. A full length mirror is good to have as well.

Free weights and resistance bands for night time stretches.

A few things from home such as picture frames, room spray, etc.

An alarm clock. One with a radio is nice, too.

A binder. This should contain info to review on: your pageant sheets you have submitted, your platform info and important stats, current events, important names you may need to know, etc. Review every night.

A Bible, to ease your jitters.

A journal, to write down all your questions you can remember after your interview. You NEVER stop learning or improving.

Good luck!
