Check out the teams at the end. 4 teams from Vegas where their division champs, 3 will repfresent the West for a chance of winning a All-Levels Championship. The 4th team were those Amazing Aces who are not eligable for the All-Levles ring, but will be shooting for a Worlds Ring.

Sounds like someone is desperately trying to pit Vca and ca against one another. Why? Who would benefit from this? Maybe a failing gym that's hoping they can benefit by having the 2 big gyms in town ripping each other to pieces? Give it a rest LVE, it's over

Leave LVE alone. I don't think there is anybody left there that even knows about this board. I can almost guarantee it was a certain group of parents that were at Elements, then NEA and LVE who are now split between CA and VCA. It's always the same people. Let it go, its over.

If you quit before the season started then why even stir the pot??????? If you new anything about cheer then you would know on both gyms behalfs that all their comps are chosen at the beginning of the year. You no you get the list of the competitions we are going to do before the season even starts. It has nothing to do with who is scared to go up against anybody. You would also know what would be the point of us going against VCA we bearly have any of the the same teams as them...... PLEASE STOP STIRING THE POT!!!!!

You are right except the competition at Cox. VCA pulled out after we added it.

I am not saying VCA pulled out becuase of CA. I have no idea why they did, just the timeline.

At a comp that size they would have grouped small and and large teams together like they did with Mini 1. There would have been several teams competing then. It would have been fun. Maybe next year. I would like to see all local gyms support the local comps more.

** you are misinformed. Vca was never registered for the competition at cox pavilion and it was never on their schedule. If you doubt that, then feel free to look at their competition schedule from last year. It's in their 2011-2012 tryout packet which I believe is still on their website. Regardless, seems like a pointless discussion because this season is practically over. I'm sure they will meet several times next season and compete against one another

You are totally right it was not on the original schedule. It was not on CA-LV's either. VCA was going to add it to replace another cancelled event. Then when CA-LV added it VCA withdrew. This comes from a friend of mine associated with the event. I think they kept most of the parents at VCA unaware.

CA-LV saw Envy and DCX more than we did VCA. It would seem almost intentional. To make it worst the rumors after Grand was that VCA will not be back next season. If that is true and you keep the same schedule we won't be seeing each other once.

CA-LV has already released their schedule. lets see if VCA will compete at the GSSA competition here. Since they did do 2 GSSA competitions this season

I don't think it is weird at all to want to compete against a gym in the same town. What's weird is you were no where to be found. We saw DCX and Envy several times, but not VCA. We even saw and competed with the Sonics from Lake Havasau several times this year and they are from AZ. It's almost like VCA was doing it on purpose.

CA-LV will be at All Level Worlds the same weekend as Jamfest. That competition is bigger than the American Grand in Salt Lake.

^ so true! CA-LV has just about as many titles as VCA. And VCA has been open three years. CA-LV is the first to get a full paid bid their first year, there was only on other full paid bid and that was when we were PAC 4 years ago. We have 2 undefeated teams and the rest have only lost 1, but STILL placed top three. anyone like to tell me VCA's? any undefeated and no lower than 3rd? And let me remind you that third was the Aces in Dallas against 2 of the top gyms in the US. anyone want to enlighten me???? SO if you would like to see CA-LV stop going to JamBrand competitions and go to higher scored Varsity competitions.

It was a great weekend. 120 teams signed up for this competition. It was nice to see other teams we have never seen before everybody had some pretty stiff competition against them. For goodness sakes even the tinies had six teams against them. That was amazing, but fun. The results were as follows 7 teams took first and two teams took second. The tinies and and Blackhawks took second. That is a lot of pressure for these little ones and amazingly they took second. We are so very proud of all the teams.Thank you so much for asking about our comp. I wish this is where this board would stay innocent and asking non-hurtful comments.

First, you are utterly stupid if you believe carmen is the only person with disdain for your gym. The statement that your harping on is the city wide view of that program. When your coach tells kids that ca video'd and stole parts of THEIR routine, when members of your gym get on face book and say we PAID for our first place wins on top of all the other garbage spewed, the war has BEEN on and brewing but it initiated with vca.
Secondly since you obviously have a personal issue with Carmen you should probably keep it within the confines of text messaging and facebook, it's much safer that way. Don't bring that childish garbage here simply because she told you about yourself and your butt hurt.

pick a fight. Grow up already! Don't you have a kid, husband, hobby or SOMETHING to put your energy into?

Frist, I am the one who posted the message and I am definately not Carmen. Secondly, I have no issues with VCA only the person who posted it.

That smug post rubbed me really wrong. VCA has a good program and should feel great about how they did, but don't bash your competition especially before you actually compete. You should also keep in mind that you're only doing easy comps. The only tough competition you went to this year you did not take a single 1st except those cute Tini's (Who were alone in the division.) and your inspiring special needs program. Which touches my heart every time I see them compete.

This is not a bash about that either. Placing where you guys did was still very impressive for any gym and you should feel awesome about yourselves. I for one would rather take second to an amazing team than beat several lesser ones.

Not every team at CA-Las Vegas has gone undefeated so far this season. They have lost agaisnt some incredibly talented teams and when they do they simply go back and work harder.

If I was on your team I would be pushing to do tougher comps. You guys are obviously not being challenged right now.

VCA has gone and against and beaten OC allstars(in November), pacific coast magic (in November), fierce allstars(in December) and cheerforce (in february), but go ahead and keep talking, no one cares

In November you did Grand, I agree that was an awesome compettion for VCA. I have no idea why you wouldn't keep doing the larger better competitons. I think VCA would continue to do well. You are trying to take what I posted and make it sound like I am putting you down. I'm not. I think Vegas cheer right now is better than it has ever been. You would be competitive at every event. You may not sweep them, but you sure could win some and definately place at the rest.

Now you mentioned two other competitions, you mentioned you realize that those large gyms have different levels of the same teams right? They are not like CA that only allow 1 team per category. The teams you went against were not the main teams. They were at the larger comps. Those are their tier 2 and 3 teams. That is why you are killing them. You need to be competeting at a higher level.

Now, I kinda feel like you were trying to be rude, so let me give you one little jab back. I noticed you didn't mention CA in that list. :-).

Why does CA have to be so nasty and negative? Wonder why no one from our gym responds? Our gym has more class than that. Funny thing is we are supportive of you when you win and you just can't reciprocate can you? How sad. Let us enjoy our awesome gym that we love so much, go where we want and leave us alone!!! Maybe we prefer not to go to comps that accept bribes and promote corruption. Believe me, we are laughing all the way to awards at the drama free, award winning year we are having!!! Unlike us, you are experiencing injury after injury from unsafe coaching, while we enjoy peaceful, normal houred practices and safety FIRST!!! Get a real life and grow up!

I am going to agree with you. If it is I believe they don't speak for the majority of VCA. I really wasn't trying to be nasty. I really beleive VCA is good enough to win or be competitive at any competition. The CA jab wasn't needed. Sorry. I don't miss the last few years of cheer drama and I am glad its gone.

I really do wish we got to see each other more at competitions. Maybe next year.

Absolutely :) best or luck to ca and Vca the rest of the season. It's nice to see the level of competitive cheer in Vegas rising up and 2 strong programs able to hold their own.

Beautiful weekend for Grand and CA Vegas!!! Truly a dream come true- the whole gym got 1st place and those sweet jackets, Aces got a Worlds bid and "best dance award" and some prize money.
