river/harbour cruise ..especially nice in a city that many people don't get to see much of. They have done this at Nationals in Australia for a few ( I have not been to them all but hear they are great). *When* we finally get our first feis happening up here, we hope to be able to put on a couple of events in the week either prior to or week after our feis to encourage people to stay and have a holiday - look around etc. Especailly as our feis will be immediately prior to our official 'tourist season' so this will mean big savings on any tourist stuff they do.

Ideas so far include - golf game... fishing trip ( both of these requested by dance dads, lol)along with the pre-feis dads darts tournament... tour of some local tourist spots. Also a dinner / dance at one of our 'crocodile' tourist places ... harbour cruise and / or crocodile fedding river cruise... ceili night ... and if we can possibly swing it, a corroborree with some of the Aboriginal people from our region.

These are all in the 'are these possible to arrange stages' but it might be nice to do a little something different each year. Some might never be possible, but without ideas , you have nowhere to work from.
