Hey, what's this business that I (Joel) get myself into "sticky messes", ME? Are you sure? Not a great all-around guy like me, with an innocent face that can deliver "what did I do so wrong?" kind of person!

Yessir, I will listen up when you give me some of your advice sir, as I want to hear your opinion sir, and make decisions after I weight all of the facts!

You got it Big Brother, I'll stick with me dad, he's #1, but you and Dave come in a close #2 for sure for giving advice.

Speaking of Dave, what did you do to him? Why isn't his little butt better and fully recovered? Give him my best and I will put in a special word when I have my next prayer session!

Big Brother Dave isn't the only one that has caught a "bug"! I have too, some myself.
Yesterday my folks and I had a "reunion" with my grandparents, everything went okay, had a great visit and we went out to eat. Later on after I got home I started not feeling to good, it wasn't the flu where I wanted to throw up or have to run to the bathroom alot, but I've ended up with a bad head cold, sore throat and feel like crap. Guess I picked up something at the restuarant. At least it wasn't food poisoning and I haven't lost my cookies!

I piled into bed after we got home, but wokeup worse, but I'm NOT tell my folks or they will want me to stay home from school and I can't miss school as I wouldn't be able to play in tomorrow night's basketball game, but the way I feel right not I don't think I could keep a good driving to the basketball game going for 5 minutes without collasping!

My throats sore, hurts to swallow and makes my voice change some, is rough like it, and squeaky other times when I talk, like my voice did on me a few years ago when my voice changed.

I'm going to try to go school, gotta make it to practice, but I GOT to play in the game which is last regular sesason one before next week when we play in the district tournament!

Get this, Coach tells me I'm 20 points away from having a high school career of l,000 points and nobody in our school has hit that, right now I have the most points of a player but the school created a "l,000 Point Club in Basketball" last year and I'm going to be the FIRST member, so I'm going to drag my little sick butt to school and practice and see if Coach will have sympathy on me and let me play best I can and try to reach as many points tomorrow night and how many games we can play and win in districts to score points to reach l,000 points.

So...how about YOU and Dave doing some praying for a Little Brother, ME, to try to get better and achieve this goal to score points, points and points? Maybe I can rack up alot of 3-point baskets?????

Hey, what's this saying Dave can be a real butt hemmorrhoid when he's sick? Where's that brotherly love or is he running you ragged? You like putting up with little brothers, and you know it! Dave would do the same for you, wouldn't he if you was sick?

If I get to bad I have the phone number of that hospital candy striper that I call to nurse me back to health. Maybe you can find one for Dave or get him a nurse? I never did find out if she gives sponge baths or not, but Kyle told me to just stick to "hitting the showers" myself with my "little ass".

Geez!

He sure knows how to hurt a guy, not feeling good, who wants to have a little fun!

Well I guess I had better get myself together and see how good of a cover-up I can do so my folks won't clip my basketball wings and make me stay home.

P.S. What's with Luke? What do you think is REALLY the matter with him and what he might he hiding, if anything?
