Hi Big Brother,

I think Joel wrote to one of those "materspieces" you talk about once in awhile. I had to force him to stop so I could have my turn to talk with ya before breakfast!

Joel told you about the Prom business, we have our school yet to see if a policy change might be done, otherwise we can go Holy and the "farm girls'" school to attend the prom. Doesn't make a difference to me and the guys, but I bet Joel would like to have the girls attend our school Prom!

We'll see Monday night when we approach our school board. This is kinda fun, didn't know we'd become lawyers-like!

You mentioned you and buddies didn't attend your school Prom at your school, but went out to dinner and had your own prom dance? Did you really enjoy being away from the rest of the student body and not be looked down upon?

I guess I wouldn't mind that we do that, but I think it would be more fun to go to a school to attend a Prom. I did last year my Junior year, of course I just asked a girl and didn't have anyone special as "the girl" as it seems we've takn up with each of the "farm girls" who are different, hard to explain, from girls at our school!

At least mine doesn't get mad and slap like Holly did Joel. I think she was wrong to do that and I'll tell her so, if I get the chance! Glad Joel was able to hold his composure. I'd probably make a fool of myself if that happened to me, and almost cry.

You are RIGHT, graduation would be lacking without Kyle, even the Prom Nite, but how can you get a subborn jackass to give in to talk, etc. We've thought about Kyle-kidnapping him to talk with him like brothers, and not rules out maybe he needs another razor strap attitude adjustment, but if that was to happen so Joel doesn't get blamed it would be me, Cody and Luke to whip his stubborn ass!

We are surprised Kyle hasn't been an ass about playing baseball games with us, but he's played his position of short-stop and "hooked up" to Joel when he was required to, etc.
He has commented about the scout. It's exciting that a scout would want to come to our tournament, and I'm going to say the truth, "it's because of Joel!" But Joel is too good of a brother/buddy to brag about it, and has sure talked it up that 'everyone should be proud the scout is coming to watch everyone! And that we should let him see a first-class ball club, and we need to win our Wooden Bat Tournament to ice the cake for the scout to see!"

Joel has NOT talked about, like Kyle has tried to say he has, that he's the only one to get an offer, if there is one to play major league baseball, etc.! If Kyle is worried then, HE should show the scout how great of a major leaguer he is to win a contract to play on a major league team!

You are right Dave, I did almost choke on eating pizza when Joel and Luke were asked to show "their package" for the pizza mgr./lady. I'm afraid I laughed my ass off, along with Cody, when the final judgement took place, and even though Luke and Joel were embarrassed, they knew it was in good fun!

That dude of a golf course owner is going to pay for whipping our asses. It looks like, unless he decides to plea-bargain, his ass is going to trial and to jail. Trial looks like maybe to be set end of this month or first part of June.

Thanks for the congrats, Big Brother for way baseball season is going. We are winning alot of games, but a few losses we should have won we feel, but we know we need to "have fun" like Coaches tell us, and try to do that. It will be fun playing in Wooden Bat Tournament on Saturday. Trying to hit the ball with a wooden bat is harder then aluminium bat. Also, unless you have agreat swing the ball does not carry a long, long distance, unless your Mr. Baseball, like Joel is. He got some great hits last year and so did a few of us others.
