Ronon took position over her as she hunkered down, straddling her body as he scanned for danger. He knew the other was out there, but with the way the evening air was shifting he couldn't pinpoint a location. He continued to growl as he turned, ears pirked as he turned away from their attacker. He felt Lyla get snatched out from under him, hissed and spun to see the black beast moving away with the little white fox in tow. He darted after them, spitting with rage as the panther pulled her behind the traincar.

Sliding in the gravel, he darted around the corner of the traincar. His gaze darted around, searching for his quarry. They couldn't have gone far, but they could have zig zaged and be hiding... The fear raced through him, he couldn't deal with loosing her so soon after finding her! He took in a deep breath, scenting for the stranger and for Lyla. It took effort to keep from growling, as it would only give his position away to their attacker.

Sometimes I feel like Jesse James
Still tryin' to make a name
Knowing nothing's gonna change what I am
I was a young troubadour
when I rode in on a song
I'll be an old troubadour
when I'm gone
