Drake stifled the growl that he felt coming when he heard her laugh at his fall and landing. He knew that he was being a tad rude to the poor girl. She was new in town, he could tell, and didn't know anyone. She certainly couldn't help her timidity, shyness, and disdain for men. He turned his deep brown eyes to her and offered a smile. "Actually your close, its Graceson. But I go by my first name which is Drake." He ran a hand through his short brown hair looking down at the ground. He slowly lifted his eyes to her again. He offered her a hand to shake. "We got off on the wrong note. I'm sorry for scaring you. The name is Drake Jamison. The closest Inn is about two blocks away although I wouldn't recommend that you walk along the streets of Cascade City by yourself at night. Like I said, there are worse things in this city than me."
