Sayda Umaña fue Miss Tegucigalpa 1995, en la corta era en que Sandra viuda de Hernández (Novedades Tatiana) era la directora de un certamen llamado Miss Honduras Internacional, una parodia de lo que fue el Miss Honduras en su época de oro, el que había decaido y gozaba de gran desprestigio y cero credibilidad entre la sociedad hondureña. Umaña viajó al Miss Internacional, en Japón. (No tenemos fotos de archivo, pero pronto las conseguiremos para todos ustedes).
