Please don't attempt to twirl a baton if you aren't taking lessons or actually have a coach. This is an insult to all real twirlers who work hard at becoming competitive twirlers. It actually makes real twirlers upset to see someone just standing up there without any real skills. Go look at websites for the United States Twirling Association, National Baton Twirling Association or Drum Majorettes of America. Mom, unfortunately, whatever you learned years ago does not apply in this case and this is not a talent that your daughter has mastered.
