Then you could see how much staging is done in 'real' scenes and watch the end product later to compare visually how a film crew can edit and cut to produce exactly what they want. Doesn't have to be reality show. The truth is that T&T is scripted and storyblocked ahead of time. They will film for as many days as they need to get what they want to portray the storyline.
That is why different families report they were filmed for 2 half days and child interviewed for 15 minutes, followed inobtrusively through the pageant VS other families reporting that film crew came for 3-4 full days and interviewed child several times throughout the pageant & afterwards giving her prompts to repeat and asking for Mom & child to do specific activities together.
The crew films till they have it in the bag and that means it is SCRIPTED STORYLINE based on a reality.
You want to be made a fool of on National TV? then sign up. We all know why Moms choose to do this regardless of what they say, it is to see themselves and their child on TV. Christina is smart enough not to work for free or sign a contract where she gains nothing and risks looking foolish from a pm actions during the competition. She is excellent at what she does and doesn't need promotion through that kind of exposure. She knows that 10 minutes on T & T isn't going to get her actual paying work in film/print later. I respect her and Valerie so much for this choice.
