ALBANY, Ga. (AP) — Ric Flair, the 62-year-old professional wrestler whose trademark "Wooooo!" catchphrase and Nature Boy nickname helped make him one of the most recognizable athletes in the U.S., says he plans to step back in the ring for a match this fall.

Flair said told the Albany Herald that he will return to wrestling in September, quieting skeptics who thought his storied wrestling career was finished.

Flair made the comments during an interview Thursday night outside the garden center of a Walmart in Albany, where hundreds of fans lined up to get his autograph and pose for pictures with him.

Flair has been recovering from a shoulder injury for the past few months, but told the Herald that he expects to face either Sting or Kurt Angle in his September comeback match.
