*her feet bare, she walks confidently down the road, her chin held high**as a breeze catches it, the hood of her mantle slides on to her shouders, revealing strangly colored hair**the deep black glints nearly brown in the sun, flawed only by a single blond streak spilling down her chest**as she nears, though, you realize that it is in fact more of a silvery color that nicely suits her pure blue eyes and tan skin**having properly examined her, you fix our attention on the child on her hip**the babe appears to be no more than two years old, and is sleeping peacefully, her head resting on the older girl's shoulder**her hair however, is a stark contrast to her mother's--it is a glossy, shining red color, though the strange silver streak remains*

History: After her father's death, her mother remarried a jobless old man named Robert. Robert forced both Maud and her younger sister, Hellen, into prostitution to 'pay the bills'. Maud wasimprgnated soon after, but her step-father forcd her to work untill she began to show, and again only days after she gave birth to twin girls, Annor and Felene. When Hellen was murdered by a 'customer', Maud tried to flee, but was caught by Robert. As punishment for her acts, Robert sold her firstborn, Felene, to a man named David Fitz Henry and his wife who had recently lost a daughter in childbirth. Maud fled in fear for her life and for that of her remaning daughter.
