This would result in the same outcome and save us having comments all over the place...

I'd say we look at using "comments" on the monday morning to confirm what changes were made.

ie. Hurley doesn't end up playing, on monday we add a comment on Hurleys cell saying "given he didn't play, highest priority KPD/SWING was EMG 3"

Easy.
