“Of course I’ve been here!” she snapped. Her eyes, dark blue, narrowed to show her displeasure. They were frame in by long lashes that were so pale it wasn’t really useful having them anyway. “And yes, sort of. It is a silk screen effect. This is where the shifter colony leaves.” Her voice had once been angelic but now was razor sharp with attitude. She wanted him to know that if he tried anything (he was kind of acting mental, after all) that he would be devoured by her pack mates. Well, she wasn’t entirely sure that would happen. “I can tell you’re a shifter. So, what do you change into? Or maybe you’re a were?” His brain pattern and scent screamed to her senses as something similar to herself. He changed alright…but into what? Hopefully not a big bear. Because, honestly, Lyla would run away in fox from if a battle ensued. Foxes were cuter than anything else. It was kind of a useless talent.

“Obviously, I’m a fox. A lot of weres live here though. They’re very tough.” Her voice sounded more musing than anything. She was letting the attitude filter away. “There are some nice places in the subway. It isn’t all creepy. We have bedrooms and things.” She was being defensive of her new home. “Honestly, you’ve never heard of this route? I came to this city just to live here.”
