Subject: Here we go again

Well we had confirmation yesterday from the vet that poor Snoop has now bust the cruciate in his right knee, it was something we had been told to expect but hey we weren't expecting it this bloody soon! Poor boy he's had 12 weeks of restrictions barely a week into freedom and back to square one again, more restrictions, not even allowed lead walks as we have to reduce the fluid. I have today spoken with the Ortho vet and we all agree that it's best to perform the 2nd op sooner rather than later. He wants to prevent damage to the meniscus. In fairness to Snoop we think this is kinder on him too, lets get him fixed and back to normal life sooner rather than later. So next Thursday it is.
I shall make the most of my bed for the next week, in preparation for sleeping on the floor for a fortnight, that's what us mums are for!!!Lots of TLC!
