Subject: Azaan Giving Hugs and Kisses to Strangers

I have posted so many pictures of Jaf, I just had to post these photos of Azaan since I am so proud of her. When I brought her home last year as a young puppy she was very suspicious of strangers. She wasn't fearful, but she just did NOT like people touching her. She would give strangers an icy glare -- some people call it a stink eye. She would fixate and stare at the stranger, and sit motionless. It sort of reminded me of a python just before it strikes. Her icy glare towards strangers was eerie, and it would unnerve me because I thought she would strike.

Within the last several months after a year of socialization, she has finally come to accept friendly strangers in public places. We went to the Car Cruise last Friday night, and Azaan was loving up on complete strangers. She stole the hearts of a lot of people that night. She is still protective around the house and property, but out in public she is a complete love bug with friendly strangers. She is a true ambassador for the Boerboel breed, and I am so proud of her!
