Kimberly, thanks for the kind words. I am excited, that's for sure! It's a little nerve-wracking with the travel, but I am sure we will get through it. There are a few other puppies traveling to the US on the same day. Hopefully the new owners will start talking soon!

Yes, I will be picking him up at DC Dulles. Pittsburgh is a smaller airport, and there weren't any direct flights. To fly him into Pittsburgh would have required a connection in Atlanta, and added to his overall flight time. The trip to DC is a direct flight from Johannesburg, so he won't have to change planes or have a layover.

Azaan loves all dogs, especially ones that will play with her. That means almost every puppy she has ever met falls in love with her too. She is a big kid at heart. I will probably make a formal introduction off site, and then bring them both home together. Jaf will be supervised 24/7 while he is being housetrained, so I won't let Azaan play too rough with him. Azaan is finally at the stage in her training that she will be a good influence.

I am excited! I will be posting frequent updates on his training and development.
