I know everybody scared to run Jeckyl and Hyde in the DFW they are the toughest backhalfs locally. Next it seem Tony Thorn cant get a race in the mustang since he put a new motor in it. What done happen to the other backhalf racers getting it in or atleast a shootout this year not a 5.00 index but backhalfs in a Quick 8 or however many there getting it on running for a belt to see who the baddest in the DFW.

Ok Gaylan Smith has been working with Cindi at Kenedale and we are set to run a 5.0 index this Friday Night. This is a trial run. Track has agreed to put some money in the pot and a couple other sponsars as well. This is our best shot at showing what 5.0 action is out there , and the track is going to be prep the very best, ITS PRO MOD NIGHT also.... :).. For door cars only, big tires, little tires, it dont matter run what you brung this includes chasis cars TURBO also, if your scared stay home..When you arive pay $50 at the gate tell gate person you are here to race 5.0 index.We should be making one time trial between 7:30pm and and 8pm..We will have a drivers meeting around 7pm to deicide how we will pay out the pot that night. And the track was not hooking like they said it would.it was and wreck also, now I have been to all the tracks now and I think nsd always talking about other tracks, and they got the same problem like any other tracks. GREAT News this week.

What a way to start a week, after the week we had last week, Dallas Raceway is alive and should have a long life. Ken and Molly will continue to be a fixture in Crandall, TX with Dallas Raceway. After all the rumors last week, and folks jumping the gun, Dallas Raceway no longer has bank issues with the previous owner. We are proud to say, we are here to stay. Thank all of you that stood beside us and prayed for us, we certainly appreciate it.

Now that we have the good news, the not so good news, we are still having computer issues on the timing equipment and we are working to get that fixed. We hope to have it fixed this week. As soon as we know it is fixed then we will post what is happening this weekend. With exception of this weekend and the IHRA Pro Am that was scheduled, which we are working to get it rescheduled now, the schedule is still fixed and we don�t anticipate any other issues with the schedule.

Due to the computer issues and the uncertainty of events last week, April 29, 2013 - May 5, 2013 the Harley Explosion event will be postponed, we will not have racing this weekend. Ken has told me that there will be a Racers Appreciation event on May 18, 2013 and Test N Tune on Friday May 17, 2013. Stay tuned for more details�

We are here, and we are still the Concrete Palace, the Dallas Raceway!

The track is not prepped yet you have fast cars running losing traction at half track then at the end of the left lane there is a dip on the big end totally not safe. Last night at the Dale me and my family was doing a family outing with the race car, we made a couple of passes with the race car and it turned out great. We were thinking the track was going to close at 10 PM, according to the time change of the track. Why did the guy in the tower say the track was closing at 9:30 PM, when the track was suppose to close at 10 PM? I don't think that it's fair to the racers and fans that the guy in the tower shut the track down early, if we paid our money from 4 PM-10 PM. It was cars cooling down from previous passes that was wanting to get back in the lanes to make another pass.
