When I was 9 years old I went to a teaching hospital for a physical exam, the nurse calls my name we go back to the exam room. She does the blood pressure vitals etc. Then she tells me to undress to my underwear then she leave's the room with the door cracked. I started to get worried that someone would she me but nobody did. In comes a woman doctor she shut the door and pulled up a stool and she started talking to me about school sports and that she had sons my age. I felt funny talking to her in my underwear. Then she left the room and came back with a woman that was dressed in scrubs but she wasn't the nurse that walked me to the room. Then the doctor started the exam. The women stood by the door and just watched. The doctor never made me drop my underwear, she just put her hand inside. I still felt embaressed because that lady she brought in was looking me up and down. I don't think she was a nurse because when I was leaving with my she was back at the desk answer phones. I think she was I secretary dressed in scrubs. Has anyone had a chaperone that wasn't a nurse or parent?
