Well then young man, you had better mend your ways hadn't you? Your mother is clearly very wise and knows what punishments are effective.
I should point out that a half hour will seem like an eternity if you have to stand facing the room with your hands on top of your head without any underpants on.
Just think young Mathew, what your three sisters will be able to see. and your mother of course. You will wish you had listened to her warnings. Think about that.

She is a very good mom to have followed through with the punishment that she warned you about. It's not easy for moms either you know. I'm sure you're feeling very embarrassed but that is worth it if it makes you sit up and take notice of what your mom is trying to tell you.
