My nanna always gave bare bottom spankings. I would fight, beg and plead everytime I messed up and knew I was gonna get one, but she never backed down. Once her and my uncle were watching tv in the family room. I came in and was being disruptive I guess during their program. She called me to her, unbuttoned my jeans and pulled them down along with my panties. I was so humiliated because my uncle didn't do a good job of pretending he wasn't watching the whole thing. Nanna pulled me across her lap with my bottom facing Uncle Roy. She gave me several hard smacks. I was squirming and kicking so I know Uncle Roy got a good view between my legs.
This has been several yrs ago & I still can't look my Uncle in the eye. So embarrassing...;

I have on occassions spanked our daughter with her skirt up and knickers down in the family room in front of her mother and her brother. It is done after dinner and takes about half an hour. I then make her do corner time and when she goes to bed apologise to the family for spoiling the evening. Yeas it is humuliating for her but that is part of the punishment. My wife punishes our son in a similar manner.
I think a good bare bottom spanking especially with humiliation is a good deterent.
