Well, this game is also supposed to be realistic. Remember when everyone thought 2000 would bring in airplane cars and cures for everything? It doesn't seem like we've advanced in too much lately except better roller coasters and toys. The Star Trek show (no offense) doesn't seem too realistic to me; I doubt we'll have that much technology in 2100, and if we base ourselves on that, we'll have less room for originality and creativity, which happen to be the things I like best.
