In Germany it is common for top junior girl soccer teams to play in all-boys leagues. The U-17 team of FFC Turbine Potsdam, an all-women club and one of the best in the world, plays in the U-15 boys top league of Brandenburg state. In the 2010/2011 season they finished 9th out of 14 with 7W-11L-8D.
Actually many of the top players of the German team currently preparing for the Women's Soccer World Cup starting next week played on boys teams up to U-17.
