Have you talked to your wife about this? Seems the obvious place to start to me. There are probably many ways to bring it up. You could describe how you felt about housework and your mom's comments. Did you ever dress as a girl or woman? Could you introduce crossdressing as bedroom fun? Discuss the male tendency to be overbearing (or whatever word works) and contrast that attitude with feminine traits? and so on. Perhaps others will come up with ideas.
