Yes,Damoclese, Kookiness is permitted in many countries. There are still, for examples, people who believe in perpetuum mobile and free energy and that the Earth is flat.
..... Similarly, in many religions/belief systems kookiness is/has been permitted to come up with all sorts of ideas that cannot be proven to be right, nor wrong, such as what happens to people after physical death.
