The fossil record cannot be dismissed. Seen over the centuries, (all? most? some?) lifeforms change, they evolve.
But I have not yet seen any proof of what causes these changes, nor, by the way, have I seen any information on what produced the huuuuuuuge energy, in different forms, that is/was supposed to exist before and after the BIG BANG!
There is no evidence that the current laws of Physics (or of Chemistry?) never change/changed.
