So far after seeking the truth for so long I know the bible as a book that is the guide to life. Gods love is teaching us how to love our selves and by abiding the rules and wisdom I seem to escape the pain of learning a lesson the hard way but by sinning I still learn but the consequence of what I have done wrong is proof that god is all knowing and opening the door to wisdom with out pain but no one is perfect exept god himself and christ who was able to abide by gods spirit sacrificing himself to save the good from the self destruction of sin I know only to well the price you pay on earth for sin and am eternally grateful that I may be forgiven on earth to escape the price that must be paid in heaven .Yes I am still a rebellious christian. But since god has revealed himself to me I no longer have to bear the pain of life alone the spirit of god heals me from my wounds when the time comes that I understand and am able to give up the fight to live in sin and realise that sin and punishment are a blessing to those who are able to learn and grow from mistakes that could have been so much worse had they have continued to make them. may god bless you on your search. amen
