If taxes were raised as you've suggested how would it affect
your lifestyle. Would you still be able to live a lifestyle
that included food, shelter and clothing. In the real world
there are a lot of people who would not be able to afford
such luxuries. The realistic answer is to do what we did
before when we had an enormous deficit. Throw out bush
and his rich, greedy friends. It really amazes me that the
american people would elect, not re-elect because he was
appointed not elected, someone who took a surplus and blew
it, someone who not only lies about mistakes he's made, he
lies about MANY other things. And he's responsible for the
deaths of not only americans but innocent Iraquis. The
entire situation of the war, the deficit, the lies, the
budget goes to prove that americans are too proud to admit
how gullible and hypocritical we really are. The truth is
that americans are the patsy's and the government is the
con artist. We are continually getting conned and to admit
it would embarass the hell out of us.

>affected by the expected backlash by the many who want
>everything without having to pay for it.
