One of the networks, I can't remember which one, recently
showed some interviews with some Iraqui citizens. They
said they would rather have things the way they were when
Sadam was in power. At least the majority of them could
go thru their daily routines without having to worry about
being alive at the end of the day. We may have given them
freedom to vote but we've also given the terrorist more
reasons to hate us and bring terroism to this country. And
if you think home land security will prevent them from
walking into a mall, sporting event, church, school or any place in this country with a homemade bomb then your living
in a dream world. What we have done in the middle east is
comparable to a white man stepping onto the sacred burial
ground of an indian tribe. To the religious extremest we
have not only stepped on their sacred ground, we are extremely sinful. To the people in the middle east religion
is their way of life. To the people in the us religion is
a hobby. That's the truth and as Jack Nicholson said in
the movie A Few Good Men, WE can't handle the truth.

USA democracy has been developed over very many
>years, to find a method that is accepted, more or
>less, by the vast majority of the population.
>..... In Iraq the kind of democracy there is still in
>its very early stages, and may be quite unlike
>therefore to the "democracy" now being in use in the
>USA.
