Actually, you just explained why Wade's "paradox" isn't anything of the sort. Tristam clearly does exist within time, and experiences it unidirectionally, as evidenced by the statement, "he cannot write about a day before he has experienced it."

Of course, since we're dealing with a logical argument, we can declare any conditions we choose - even ones that are impossible in our own natural world. But the fact remains that Wade has not created a true paradox. Based on the things he states axiomatically, his conclusion is illogical.
