If you view the examination of ideas and philosophy to be totally without merit, then you are probably in the wrong place.

How many angels could dance on the tip of a needle may have been very irrelevant to the overall good of the world, but then, each day you wake up you probably have a million considerations that cross your mind that do not impart any sort of lasting knowledge to the world. However, those decisions are very important to YOU, and not much differently, the time spent on the arguments here are obviously important to the people spending time on them.

To my recollection, you have spent very little if any time devoted to making any compelling arguments about much of anything. It's little surprise you're suddenly bored. Maybe you should try taking a hard line stance on something, ANYTHING and supporting it with relevant evidence and see if that helps alleviate your boredom.

But of course, if you are out to change the world with some sort of novel idea, by all means, go do that and get back to us later.
