Thanks for your post.

Have you studied these two passages of scripture? The first passage is referring to God's omniscience. God is everywhere. Buildings cannot contain Him.

The next passage is talking about a building that is devoted to praising God. Jesus said the synagogue belonged to God. Don't all things belong to God anyhow? In this situation, Jesus was emphasizing how God should be praised in the synagogue because He ordained places of worship.
