Subject: Defending Christianity Author: Dr. Fennel [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 11/16/03 12:55pm If we intend to defend Christianity as we know it, we had best learn to recognize its primary enemy and not be afraid to stand up and call it by name. That name is the American Civil Liberties Union. The ACLU believes that the Eleventh Commandment is: "Thou shalt threaten, degrade, poison, bulldoze, and kill Christian values." Sorry, but I have to call foul on that one. The "facts" that the ACLU often uses contain some serious distortions. Some are blatant; others are subtle. Among their most patronizing is their continuing defense of abortionists and homosexualists. Just because you can do something does not mean it's okay to do it, I don't think anyone questions that. But did you know that we might be able to explain away many of their uninformed, cuckoo crusades as being merely the effect of bad drugs? Afterall, their membership consists mostly of pot-smoking 60’s-era hippies from the Peoples Republic of Berkeley. The rest are obviously weak-brained slackers who were recruited via Soviet-style brainwashing techniques; these (what I like to call) "pod-people" are now trying to do the same to us. You should never forget the three most important facets of the ACLU's holier-than-thou attitudes, namely their resentful origins, their internal contradictions, and their tendentious nature. For those of you out there who don't know what I'm talking about, let me give you a quick explanation: The ACLU will do whatever it can to destroy everything that we True Christians hold dear. That is why, Dear Reader, we must hold firmly to the Four P's: Patience, Perseverance, Positive Thinking, and Prayer. One final point of irony: The ACLU's lies are so persuasive that effete LIEberal kooks truly believe that the ACLU can shut-out The Word of God using meaningless hyperbole and wayward constitutional arguments, and get away with it.
